Sorry the pictures didn't work on the last post...here they are!

Look at this amazing trunk I bought a few weeks back, on getting it into the house (very tricky as it is really quite heavy) I started to realise that on seeing the trunk and thinking "I must have it" I actually didn't know what to do with it. It was extremely shabby inside and so after purchasing some beautiful vintage Liberty print fabric from an amazing shop in Needham Market I began my first furniture restoration.

I havnt lined the drawers yet because I ran out of fabric but a friend has posted me a fun pack full of gold fabric, gold edging, and the best thing...Swarovski crystals. When I finally get the time I will be using all of these things to make my trunk the most amazing thing ever.

What is not to love about these monkeys!

Whilst researching for a couple of upcoming projects I'm finding myself spending too much time copying lettering from my new handmade lettering and typography book.

It will have to be added to my growing list of things I cant get enough of, which include pigeons, neon pink, religious regalia and now... typography
